General Workers Union (GWU)
The GWU is the largest workers union in Malta. The main objective of the GWU is to promote better working conditions for its members and improve their standard of living to acceptable levels to the development and the times. It strives to promote social justice with equal opportunities to enhance civil liberties and decent living conditions. The GWU promotes the rights of security of job, with adequate wages and safety from hazards in the place of work
