TOTAL E-QUALITY Deutschland e.V. (TOTAL E-QUALITY Germany)

Since 1996 this association strives to establish and to secure equal opportunities. With the Total E-Quality seal, it honours economic, scientific and administrative organisations as well as associations with, as a rule, at least 15 employees for a successful implementation of equal opportunities in their personnel and organizational policy. TOTAL E-QUALITY stands for Total Quality Management (TQM), with the additional component of gender (Equality). The institutions distinguished with the seal commit themselves to: promoting women in leading positions, safeguarding the reconciliation of work and family, managing recruitment and human resources development in a gender-fair way, promoting fair conduct in the workplace and including equal opportunities in their corporate principles. Until 2013, a total of 511 seals was awarded to 253 organisations. Of these organisations, 144 were able to successfully defend the title at least once and 17 achieved the sustainability award (having received the seal for the fifth time). The 253 organisations have a total of about 2,5 million employees and ca. 800.000 students who benefit from a fair personnel policy.
