Gender equality mapping, step 4 - Mapping method JämKART (Gender Equality Survey) provides a quick overview of an organization's impact on gender equality and an assessment of how far gender equality has already progressed. It also provides space to suggest improvements which can then be included in an action for gender mainstreaming. JamKART can advantageously also be used to make an initial study of activities prior to the selection and prioritization of deeper gender analysis. It aims to provide an overview of the agency's activities are important for gender equality, how the operation is already helping to achieve the gender equality objectives and what improvements are needed to the gender equality objectives to be achieved.
