This report deals with the gender mainstreaming strategy, which accounts for the overall and long-term approach to how gender equality will be achieved. This will turn the methodology into its strategic context. Both the Guide and this report are based on experiences that are made both outside and within the working group, with no claim to be comprehensive. The personnel policies promoting gender equality outside the Working Group's mandate and the report. Chapter 2 gives a history and there is a conceptual discussion. Chapter 3 provides a description of the changes in public and private sector and working group perceived to have led to the development of gender equality. Chapter 4 discusses principal starting point for method development and hence the operationalization of the strategy. The final chapter summarizes the analyzes and presents suggestions for future work.
