Programa do XIX Governo Constitucional

The Programme of the 19th Constitutional Government (2011) recognises “gender equality not only as a matter of social rights and justice, but also as a pre-condition for accomplishing sustainable growth, employment and solidarity”, in which gender equality should be regarded as an opportunity for change in the current period of crisis (p. 99). Therefore, the government commits to implement the public policies to promote gender equality through the execution of the respective national plan.
