Feature Film Production Workforce Survey

The results of this survey do not show much change from those of the earlier survey in 2005. Roughly half the workforce has not received any kind of training. In addition, there are particular areas where significant improvement is needed: To create a more diverse workforce by recruiting and retaining: more women, people from ethnic minority communities, and people with disabilities; To reduce the amount of unpaid work that people in our industry are expected to do in order to gain experience before getting paid work; To enable the workforce to receive more training by supporting them through financial subsidies and more convenient delivery, i.e. flexible location and timing.
