Veille documentaire : conciliation vie professionnelle - vie familiale.
The aim of the report is to compare the Luxembourgish policies on reconciliation with that of other European countries. This comparison gives three main results. Firstly, in Luxembourg, the family policy is mainly provided by cash-benefits. Cash-benefits may have an impact on the timing of birth; their effect on mother’s labour supply is unclear. Secondly, in Luxembourg, there are little incentives for fathers to take parental leave. Thirdly, over the past ten years, Luxembourg has developed the provision of affordable child care services in order to help parent to reconcile work and family life.
