Advertising and the genders

The website is part of the Hungarian feminist cultural and political website Stiletto (Tűsarok) and is dedicated to informing readers about the final conference of the project "Advertising and the genders" (Reklámok és NEMek), an international awareness-raising project about gender-based stereotypes in advertising. The website provides short summaries of the conference's presentations and round-table discussions on various aspects of sexist advertising, relevant policies, regional experiences on the subject and how the advertising industry could play an active part in dismantling gender stereotypes instead of perpetuating them as they very often do.
