Awareness-raising campaigns, conferences and events
Numerous conferences, debates, statements in the period 1992-2012. Facebook Events, websites FEM21.org and www.asociatiaariadna.com. The Grundtvig lifelearning programme project "Voix des Femmes" 2011-2013 included meetings with civil society, conferences, sessions, and the results were widely disseminated online and via other media.
Aims and objectives
- To increase awareness about the position of women in the media and to stimulate media organisations to tackle inequality in their organisation
Results and impact
Increase in the number of female news reporter and media executives. University courses on gender, masters, doctorates. Coverage of gender policies in Romanian State budget. Changes in the electoral law with positive actions for women's access to politics.
