Aims and objectives
The women’s engagement newsletter provides news and updates about women’s equality and engagement from across government. Specifically these newsletters aim to provide information about government policy and developments of interest to women, organisations representing the views of women and the voluntary, public and private sector. So as to ensure that these newsletters have the widest possible circulation, readers are asked to circulate the documents to their networks, colleagues and friends.
Results and impact
The March 2012 Newsletter stated that over 20 per cent of readers responded to its survey of December 2011, the highest responses to date for a Home
Office readership survey. Results revealed that newsletter was well-read. Over a quarter of respondents reported that they use the newsletter's information directly in their work, and over a third said that they pass the newsletter on to colleagues and associates.
