Awards for positive and negative examples of gender roles in the media
Women in the Media Association gave out awards between 2007 and 2010. They gave one award to a female media personality who provided a positive example through her work, one award for a positive media product (for example magazine or catalogue), and one "negative award" for a person or company who promotes incorrect women's portrayal.
