The objectives of this Act are to prevent discrimination based on gender, to promote equality between women and men, and thus to improve the status of women, particularly in working life.

This survey is based on the governmental progrem for equal pay. It identifies research gaps in equal pay and gives a state-of-the-art report on the labour market situations of men and women.
