Protection and support in case of genital mutilation (Female Genital Mutilation - FGM)

* Senate proposal to support the building of a national reference centre against female genital mutilation; report which measures are currently effective in connection with the protection of women and girls against genital mutilation in Berlin; reports to what extent cases of genital mutilation have become known in Berlin and how the victims will be helped and display how new knowledge and experience at national and international level are used in Berlin for the further improvement in the protection of vulnerable girls and these women.
