The information was last updated in 2013 and may not accurately represent the present situation. It makes a reference to the United Kingdom as a member of the European Union and was published before the UK's withdrawal from the European Union on the 31 January 2020. 

The numbers listed in annex 3 are all statistical drawings from the web based national institution "Statistikbanken" (The bank of Statistics), who collects official statistic material in Denmark.

59 women were seeking for asylum in Denmark the 3rd quarter of 2011.

Limitations of study

The data available on "The bank of statistics" gives no information about: - age of the asylum seeking women - length of stay in country - number of daughters (descendants) - date of birth of daughters (descendants)
