332 midwives, 330 gynaecologists and 141 paediatricians. Response rate: a total of 105 (13%), including 49 midwives (15%), 36 gynaecologists (11%) and 15 paediatricians (11%).
Prevalence data on FGM
FGM is known to 95.2% or 4.8% have heard about it. 34.6% have detailed knowledge. 80% are aware of criminality in Austria. 60% want more information about FGM in further education. 54.4% of FGM cases are known from the work situation. 23% awareness of people who are affected is relatively high. 36% of respondents have heard von FGM execution in Austria. 62% of medical complications due to FGM. 19% surgically professional conduct

Limitations of study
