Press Conference for journalists on International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

The Advisory Committee held a press conference during the International Day for the Elimination of Violence on Women

(25/11/2007). During the press conference they announced the most recent statistical data on family violence from the Social Services Welfare and the Police. Additionally. Reference was made to the various activities of the Advisory Committee and information material was distributed to journalists from the media. The press conference was attended by

journalists from newspapers and television channels. The press conference was covered successfully by both the print and television media. In addition,

the Advisory Committee has distributed information material to the public through the mail and gave out mouse pads with the slogan "Talk to Me Do not Hit me".
