On the base of Penal Code facts. The data about the cases at different phases of the procecution are delt separetly: namely at the investigation phase and the phases of the actual charge. The data of the cases in this second phase is collected by the VIR (Vádemelési Információs Rendszer, Information System of Charges).

The data is collected on individual sheets on an electric surface. Once a particular data sheet is completed a validating program is running to filter controversies in data an errors.

Good. The values are exact ,however there might be small shifts or problems in categorizing certain incidents. The original data source can not be checked again.

Good. Yes the data is reliable. The percentage of potentially occorring errors is significantly limited.

Timeliness

No information. The statistics of ENYÜBS can serve very well the purpose of yearly comparisons. They show the trends very well, and these are especially significant in the case of frequently occuring crimes.
