Accuracy
Problems. There are no major strength to this statistical product apart from the fact that it exists. It has the potential to be an extremely useful source of information as an intermediary in between the medical system and the judiciary one but at this point in time the accuracy of the data is not very good. The problem is very basic and does not regard accuracy in terms of computation but simply in terms of data set being unstandardized, different procedures for keeping a database, etc.
Reliability
No information available
Timeliness
Good. Given that the main statistical product is an yearly report there a significant time lag in between the event described and the data availability;

- Geographical
- Over time
- None
Current developments
No plans for the incoming year in regards to the improvement of statistical procedures. The Forensic Institute has been drifting for some time in between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Justice; none of the governmental authorities take leadership over the organization of forensics and none elicit data from the institute.
