Quality assurance process
A complaint is filed with the NCCD, registered and then processed by an investigation specialist; if deemed as a suitable case of discrimination ( if the complaint has all the formal requirements and if indeed is reports data compatible to a discrimination case then it is translated in a case file; the case file is given a registration number and the victim is required to bring all existence evidence to back up the case; then the offender is called before a NCCD committee; the case file is then passed to the council governing NCCD for a final conclusion and any administrative measures; the case file is processed into a data base sometime in process and the entry is concluded with the final conclusion offered by the council of NCCD;
Comparability
- Geographical
- Over time
- None
The data recording model has been used for the past 6 years making data comparable across this time span
Timeliness
> 1 year
These are annual statistics so there is a significant time lag between the incident and the final national statistics; however updates on recent incidents can be issued from NCCD because data processing is connected to one single person; the institution has a good public relation policy and data can be released upon database update.
