The conference on “Feminist Legacies - Feminist Futures” organized by ATGENDER, the European Association for Gender Research, Education and Documentation, provided a platform for establishing contacts with relevant stakeholders within the fields of gender & women’s studies, documentation centres, feminist research and gender equality in Europe.

The 2nd meeting of the Beijing Indicators Working Group included: A presentation and discussion on the preliminary results of the Institute's report on Area E: Women and the Economy of the Beijing Platform for Action (BPfA) and on the indicators adopted for the promotion of harmonisation of work and family responsibilities for women and men.

About the event The workshop organised by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) brought together National Equality bodies (NEBs) with expertise on equal pay issues to explore solutions to close the gender pay gap. At the Symposium there were around 80 participants representing national governments, NGOs, civil organizations, researchers. Ms. Ingrid Bellander-Todino, DG Justice, Policy Coordinator for vaw made a presentation on EU activities in regards to domestic violence and announced that DG Justice works on Victims Right package now (t.b. announced in May) and that EU could accede CAHVIO as an EU.
