The consultation meeting on good practices in the area of Women and the Media, which will take place on 16 and 17 January 2013 in Vilnius. This meeting is organised in the frame of EIGE’s study Collection of methods, tools and good practices in the field of women and the media (as described by area D of Beijing Platform for Action) in the EU 27 Member States and Croatia. One of the study’s aims is to assess practices with potential collect in EU27 and Croatia and the other one is to identify good practices.
The expert meeting will provide the opportunity to exchange and share reflections on experiences and approaches in the field of in promoting gender equality in the area of Women and the Media with specific concern on training, awareness-raising, self-regulation and access to expression and to decision making in the media.
