Following the European Economic and Social Committee’s Opinion (SOC/475) on “Gender Balance on Company Boards”, the Female Board Pool Belgium in association with the IFPM Center for Corporate Governance at St. Gallen University / Switzerland, European Professional Women’s Network / Brussels Chapter (PWI), and ASTIA, have the pleasure to invite you to a debate jointly organised with the European Economic and Social Committee.
As European companies are preparing to comply with new legislation proposed by EU Commissioner Viviane Reding to ensure gender balance on corporate boards, many organisations are building pipelines of board-ready and board-experienced women, talent-scouting qualified senior female executives for European boardrooms. This event seeks to engage a discussion on the value of databases to help place women on public and private company boards across Europe.
