EIGE is estimating the costs of gender-based violence for EU Member States. This study will help to monitor the progress the EU has made in eradicating gender-based violence since 2014, when EIGE first estimated the costs.
The study will pay special attention to the economic costs of intimate partner violence. It will also provide recommendations to the EU and its Member States on how to improve future estimations of the costs of gender-based violence and how to prevent gender-based violence.
The report will be published in June 2021.
