Description

This study found robust new evidence on the positive impacts of reducing gender inequality in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, labour market activity and wages. It also showed that addressing different aspects of gender inequality together is likely to have greater positive impact than tackling each aspect of gender inequality individually. This is because gender equality improvements in one domain spills over into other domains.
