The personal scope of the EU sex equality directives
"The report of the European Network of Legal Experts in the Field of Gender Equality on The Personal Scope of the EU Sex Equality Directives aims to clarify how the personal scope provisions of the five main directives concerning sex equality, pregnant workers and parental leave have been implemented in the national laws of 33 countries: all 27 EU Member States, Croatia (approaching accession on 1st July 2013), the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkey, and the EEA countries. In addition, the differences in personal and material scope between the sex equality directives and of Directives 2000/43/EC (equal treatment between persons irrespective of racial or ethnic origin) and 2000/78/EC (equal treatment in employment and occupation) are discussed in each national report, alongside national and European case law."--Editor.
