Description: Rachel has spent the last 10 years working with employers to challenge discrimination and create more engaging and inclusive workplaces. Rachel’s focus has been to move employers beyond thinking about diversity as a numbers game, to focusing on creating organisations in which everyone can be included and achieve their potential. In 2011 Rachel was a founding Director of Inclusive Employers. Before establishing Inclusive Employers, Rachel was the Campaign Director at The Employers Forum on Age and Belief. There she led the campaign to end the default retirement age, worked with employers to embed age discrimination laws and ran the organisation’s communications and public affairs campaigns. Before joining the EFA/B, Rachel worked as the Brand Manager for Age Concern England after spending time at a small marketing agency specialising in brand and renaming campaigns.Rachel’s skills include working with large public and private sector organisations to create inclusive environments, research, internal and external communications, policy development and public affairs.
