bga - Bundesgründerinnenagentur (National Agency for Women Start-ups Activities and Services)
Since 2004, bga has offered cross-sectoral information, consultancy services, facts and figures on all phases of start-ups, expansion of enterprises and business succession and is the only nationwide competence centre of this kind. Its purpose is to mobilise women's potentials in the economy and in the market and to seize existing opportunities by promoting women's entrepreneurial independence. To this end, bga has been represented by regional managers in all 16 federal states since 2006 and is operating the information platform www.gruenderinnenagentur.de on the Internet. The National Agency for Women Start-ups (bga) is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BmBF), the Federal Ministry of Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) as well the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the state Baden-Württemberg.
