Politici de ocupare în Europa Centrală şi de Est

This paper describes and analyzes how Central and Eastern European countries have developed employment policies during the transition to the market economy. The comparison approach allows a better understanding of the actions that countries have taken in the past 16 years, highlighting that interdisciplinarity is fundamental in understanding social change. The author captures and analyzes the relationship between the labour market and the development of welfare states, focusing on a number of aspects related to labour market interventions and the principles that govern these interventions through employment policies. Much attention is paid on the unemployment situation in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
