Women's participation in public life

Since 1992, when CBOS conducted the first research on women in the public sphere, the support for increasing the presence of women in public sphere has grown among the Polish public (research conducted on a representative national sample of adult citizens, probability sampling, N=952); 40% respondents though more women should hold public positions, incl. public media; more women than men held this view; 26% supported quota-based solutions for increasing women representation in public administration while 55% were against it.
