“Out of school” care arrangements and reconciliation between work, private and family life
This report provides an analysis of the out-of-school care arrangements available in the UK, and discusses some of the main policy initiatives in relation to formal childcare provision. The main focus of the report is on services for school age children but there is also some analysis of services that cover younger children in pre-school education since developments in this type of provision have been more extensive.
