Equality for Women and Men (Amendment) Act (Act IX) 2012 (Malta)

Amendment to the Equality for Men and Women Act to consolidate the laws relating to discrimination in Malta, which apart from sex and family responsibilities would also include religion or belief, age, race or ethnic origin, sexual orientation and gender identity; moreover the interests of self-employed persons and the spouses of the latter shall also be protected. Thus NCPE's remit was extended to cover these grounds as well.
