Equal access to quality care: Lessons from France on providing high quality and affordable early childhood education and care

In this chapter I address the issue of equal access to quality care and underline the lessons other countries could draw from France on providing high quality and affordable early childhood education and care. I also put emphasis on current challenges faced by policy makers in this area.
