The article focuses on the portrayal of and studies whether the change of the position of women in society brings forth the changes in their portrayal in media

Only 20% of talk time in Estonian Television is filled by women (although they represent 34% of people featuring in TV). Women's talk time is shorter, while men's is longer. It is probably because the men are usually anchors of broadcasts while women feature more in episodes.
