The joint Trans-National Report is compilation of research findings from Cyprus, Iceland, Malta, Slovenia and Sweden described the current Work-Life Balance situation in each partner country, the challenges facing employers in implementing the related policies and contributes in assisting the Public Employment Services Organisations, by recommending ways to increase Work-Life Balance in the private sector. For Cyprus, the study also identifies the most important initiatives for employees in order to achieve work-life balance: paid parental leave, followed by flexible working hours, flexibility in work-time schedules, extended hours of childcare facilities, better quality and affordability or partially state subsidized childcare, and job security.
