White Ribbon Campaign

Violence against women is a crude violation of fundamental human rights, a silent torture, a slap in the face of our children. It keeps our societies in chains. As a Dean and Member of the Hellenic Parliament, as a journalist, a writer, a husband and a grandfather I shall bring this abhorring issue up, at every opportunity. I shall give voice to the victims of gender violence and I shall work in order to bring an end to this social catastrophe.
