Conditions for disclosing information
Although FGM is not explicitly addressed in the Family violence prevention act, it could still be recognised as grievous bodily harm or especially grievous bodily harm according to Criminal Code, Article 123 and Article 124 and must immediately be reported to social services, police or prosecutor in case a victim is a child.
