National Action Plan for Reproductive and Sexual Health 2008-2012

* Sexual and reproductive health concern more than one diseases and they also concern human rights. Matters concerning a woman's mental and physical health are not very simple and they often need to be dealt on a holistic basis as they are usually connected to social and family traditions.

Furthermore, in many countries, even in developed countries, reproductive health issues are not commonly discussed.

The main aims of this action plan are to improve the qualitative and quantitative indicators affecting the level of reproductive and sexual health by informing families of harmful practices and diseases, providing protection mechanisms, reducing domestic violence and sexual violence etc.

This action plan is introduced through the National Action Plan for Public Health.
