* Recommendations from the Federal Medical Association on the dealings with patients who have undergone FGM. These women should be supported effectively according to their suffering and their symptoms, socially, psychologically and medically. Especially in gynaecological and obstetric care attention for anatomical features to circumcision is needed as well as attention for the needs of the patients at birth, surgery and wound care, medically and psychologically. This must be done in accordance with the moral obligations of physicians.
