Intercultural Dialogue on Violence against Women
This booklet is the product of a year long project undertaken by the Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies (MIGS) funded by the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures. The project partners include ANTIGONE - Information Centre on Racism, Ecology, Peace and Non Violence (Greece), the Alliance for Arab Women [AAW] (Egypt), HEURA (Spain) and the ISIS Centre for Women and Development (Morocco).
The overall aim of the project was to promote the active participation of women in intercultural dialogue on violence against women and the exchange of information and experience on the issue among the partner organisations. The project brought together five organisations and 25 women from diverse backgrounds across the Euro-Med region.
