Aims and objectives
To provide support through the implementation of new methods for better cooperation between authorities from the crime victims perspecitve. It includes building up the physical environment, interrogation technology and development cooperation model between the different authorities.
Results and impact
Evaluation has been done by the University of Lund.T he evaluation shows that a whole new target group has sought help at Karin. There are many women who have previously not wanted to contact the police or other authorities because they expe- rience the situation as shameful and feel extremely vulnerable. In Karin the victim’s situation can be experienced as less dramatic since the facilities and mentality is different from a normal poli-ce station. It also shows that co-location of the authorities is important for the victims. To avoid being requested to contact different authorities at diffe-
rent addresses in a vulnerable situation is something proves as a point of importance.
