Criteria guide concerning judicial action against gender violence
The guide provides performance criteria in order to eliminate stereotypes which have been learnt in the process of socialization and thus bring judiciary closer to the phenomenon of gender violence. Moreover, the guide provides and exposes interpretative solutions and doctrinal reflections in the provincial hearings on some of the issues that have raised more discussion about the implementation of the comprehensive law against gender violence. In this context, it includes reflections on the general objective of the comprehensive law against gender violence; the rights of women victims of gender violence; the coordination with other institutions; criminal and judicial protection; the influence of equality Law and other recommendations. Finally it includes two annexes: a list of European legislation on equality and against gender violence, and a list of Spanish regional laws within the same issue.
