Report From the Harmful Traditional Practices and Human Trafficking Sub-Group - Responding to Violence against Women and Children - The Role of the NHS
An independent taskforce was set up to identify the role and response of the NHS in relation to violence against women and children and to make recommendations on what more could be done to meet their needs. The Taskforce comprised four sub-groups covering sexual violence against women, sexual abuse against children, harmful traditional practices and trafficking, and domestic violence. These groups have produced individual reports and their key findings and recommendations have formed this report.
