"Access for all" (Zugang für alle) - Information for disabled women
Many women and girls with disabilities lack information about the help system, especially if they have no access to appropriate materials or they are not readable and understandable for them.
Many offers of counseling services are not explicitly focused on women and girls with disabilities.
Also women and girls, especially those with learning difficulties, are often not aware that she (have) experienced.
The activities include:
- elaboration of a guideline for organisations and shelters
- increase awareness
- train professionals in supporting organsisations.
- to involve other organisations in the activities.
Aims and objectives
The aim is that disabled women and girls who experience violence, easily obtained the necessary support, advice and help.
To better reach women with disabilities, who are often not reached by the Councelling organisations and helplines by increasing the "Barrierfree" access
