Incident data, with remarks about the evolution and footnotes about possible explanations for this evolution (influence of legal framework -> increase of cases of IPV after circulars concerning definition, registration and approach of IPV are published; high dark number with sexual crimes). Rape: victim age. Sexual assault: number of incidents in which no violence was used, victim age.

Quality assurance process
The data are registered in a uniform way, by standardized registration systems. Service for police information watches over quality of data in database. A section of this service is responsible for working out a control system to guarantee quality of data.
Accuracy
No information. Results are based on facts registered with the police, they potentially suffer from dark number.
Reliability
Good. Guidelines in circulars should provide sufficient reliability (e.g. COL 3/2006). In practice, there may be small differences in registration practice between police districts.
Timeliness
Good. The data are reported very soon, annually. The data are registered ongoing. Therefore, timeliness is considered to be good. The product also discusses the evolution of crime over time (ten years)
