The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) is carrying out a project on gender-responsive public procurement (GRPP) in the EU. To support the contracting authorities in applying GRPP throughout the public procurement cycle, EIGE has developed a step-by-step toolkit which will be discussed with experts in this meeting.

The focus of this consultation is:

  • How GRPP contributes to closing gender equality gaps.
  • Entry points to mainstream gender into procurement practices and processes.
  • Testing and finalising the step-by-step GRPP toolkit.

Participants of the meeting are EU officials, representatives of contracting authorities at the EU and national level, EU Funds Managing Authorities, and gender equality bodies from the EU Member States. Participation is by invitations only.
