On 25 November, EIGE will mark the beginning of the annual awareness-raising campaign ‘Orange the World’ to end violence against women and girls. By promising to never commit, condone, or remain silent about violence against women, we can bring change.

From 25 November until Human Rights Day on 10 December, EIGE runs the ‘16 days of activism against gender-based violence' campaign on its social media channels (Facebook / Twitter / LinkedIn / YouTube). We invite you to join our efforts and encourage your social media followers to be part of the campaign.

Here we share visuals that you can post on your social media channels. We will launch the campaign on 25 November, and light up the EU House in Vilnius in orange – a colour that symbolises hope in a world FREE from violence!

For the sixth year, EIGE also invites local stakeholders, ambassadors and embassy staff based in Vilnius to show their commitment and support to the #OrangeTheWorld campaign by lighting up their buildings in orange. The following stakeholders in Lithuania have confirmed they are joining the #OrangeTheWorld campaign by lighting up their buildings and historical landmarks in orange: Parliament of Lithuania (Seimas), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, Ministry of Health, Embassies of Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Romania, United Kingdom, Lithuanian Missions Abroad. Siauliai, Raseiniai, Sirvintai District, Vilnius and Vilnius District Municipalities join as well. Vilnius Municipality will light up in orange three bridges: Mindaugas, Zverynas and White. Vilnius Airport will light up a multistorey parking lot.

Let’s join together to end violence against women and girls.
