Gender-Based Violence Experts Meet
A meeting in Vilnius today drew in Europe's top experts on gender-based violence. Practitioners and researchers from a number of EU Member States that are working in the field, including those who have explicit experience in working with men to end gender-based violence provided EIGE with significant input from their respective countries.

Having presented the latest developments in EIGE's work on gender-based violence and men and masculinities, EIGE additionally reported on the progress of the Study to identify and map existing data and resources on sexual violence against women in the European Union. The main objective of this study is to identify what kind of data and resources should be collected for having a good overview of the methods, tools and progress made in relation to the prevention of sexual violence against women, to collect existing and reliable information, data and resources, to systematise it and to provide advice on actions for improving implementation methods, tools and data collection on sexual violence against women.
