The European Conference 'More technologies? More women entrepreneurs!' is the result of a succesful set of interlinked and complementary information and dissemination actions in the frames of the European project "ladybizIT", under the initiative "Leonaro da Vinci", with the aim to contribute to the European Comission's efforts to support female entrepreneurship and promote how Information and Communication Tools (ICTs) can facilitate it.
One of the major obstacles for women to take the option of European entrepreneurship is the limited access to and use of ICT tools. This is why the European project "ladybizIT" triggers discussion amongst women entrepreneurs, their associations, decision and policy makers, in order to bring about the added value of ICTs in encouraging potential female entrepreneurs, and in general boosting entrepreneurship.
