Estefania Alaminos Aguilera

Statistician, Income and Living Conditions Unit, Eurostat

Estefanía Alaminos is a statistician of the Income and Living Conditions Unit at Eurostat (European Commission) in Luxembourg. Her prior positions include statistician at the International Labour Organisation in Geneva, researcher and assistant professor at the University of Barcelona, and professor at ESIC-Business & Marketing School. She holds a PhD in Business from the University of Barcelona, a Master’s degree in Statistics and Operations Research from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya, a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science and Finance, and a Master’s degree in Economics both from the University of Málaga. Estefanía’s research interests include income inequality, welfare state, gender gaps, survey design and methodology, and actuarial modelling in life insurance.
