DESCRIPTION:Europe needs a broader and more adaptable skills base to power its future. Yet talent remains underused across the labour market – from too few women in tech to too few men in care – while unequal access to lifelong learning and persistent gender stereotypes continue to shape people’s choices and opportunities.&nbsp\;In this in-person World Café workshop\, together with EU agencies working on the skills agenda – the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop)\, the European Institute of Innovation &amp\; Technology (EIT) (tbc)\, the European Training Foundation (ETF)\, European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) (tbc)\, we will invite participants to explore solutions together. Rotating between tables\, participants will discuss EIGE’s upcoming skills reports and policy recommendations alongside the agencies’ perspectives on the wider skills agenda\, identifying how Europe can widen participation\, strengthen lifelong learning and build the workforce it needs.
